June 26, 2009
An announcement of the Affordable Homeownership units was made
July 2 – July 30, 2009
Open Houses are scheduled to run every Tuesdays & Sundays (1:00pm – 4:00pm) and Thursdays (4:00pm – 7:00pm)
July 31, 2009 @ 2:00pm:
Deadline date to have all completed applications returned for the initial random draw selection. Applications received after this date will be considered for the waitlist.
August 14, 2009:
Random Draw Date; this is the date tentatively selected to hold the random draw process.
August 17, 2009:
Letters will be sent to all applicants advising of the status of their application. Those not selected from the random draw process will be entered on the waitlist for future purchases.
September 2009:
Those selected from the random draw process must attend a One Day Seminar on Affordable Homeownership ( date to be determined). The seminar is designed to inform the applicants of the procedures for owning and reselling the units. The day to select your unit, succesfull applicants select a unit and enter into a Contract of Purchase & Sale.
September 25, 2009:
All contracts of Purchase & Sale must be returned to the Seller for acceptance.
Fall / Winter 2009:
Completion & Possession dates will be staggered to allow for a smooth transition into your new home. These dates are negotiated in the Contract of Purchase & Sale. Selling of remaining units available
2010:
An AGM of the Strata Corporation will be held for all new owners of the Affordable Homeownership units ( date to be determined).
